LEXINGTON, Ky. – Off to its best start in school history, the No. 10/11 Kentucky Softball team will head to Paradise this weekend in Boca Raton, Florida to face off against four teams in the 2021 FAU Parent’s Weekend Invitational hosted by Florida Atlantic University.

The tournament will see Kentucky play six games over four days, beginning on Thursday afternoon with a doubleheader against Pittsburgh and FAU.

There will be no live streaming or live scoring for this weekend’s tournament, but periodic updates will be available on the UK Softball Twitter account, by following @UKSoftball. Kentucky will also play two games against Coastal Carolina stretching Saturday and Sunday, with a single game against Illinois State thrown in, as well.

At 14-0, UK has won the most games in program history to begin any season, surpassing the previous record of 12 last weekend at THE Spring Games, as part of a 5-0 weekend in Orlando.

Kentucky is the third-highest ranked team from the Southeastern Conference, behind No. 3 Alabama and No. 5 Florida.

The Wildcats are one of 10 ranked teams this week in the USA Softball/ESPN.com top-25 polls that were released on Tuesday.
