LEXINGTON, Ky. – After opening the Spring 2020 season with a pair of wins at home, the Kentucky Wildcats are set to face their first road test of the season versus Notre Dame on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Sunday marks the spring opener for the Fighting Irish, who defeated Kentucky 5-2 in Lexington last season.

Last Thursday, the Cats picked up a 7-0 win against Cleveland State and a 6-1 victory over Toledo. Kentucky was anchored by the debut of freshman Liam Draxl, who earned his first career ranked win in singles play with a rousing 7-5, 4-6, 6-2 win over 65th-ranked Cleveland State senior Nico Mostardi.

In the 2019 matchup with Notre Dame, Kentucky’s Kento Yamada battled to a 6-3, 6-3 win over then-49th-ranked William Howells, now a junior.
