Twenty-one Cats Land On C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Conference USA announced its annual Commissioner’s Honor Roll on Thursday, featuring 21 players from the men’s soccer affiliate Kentucky Wildcats.
 
Student-athletes named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. Overall, a total of 3,143 honorees were recognized for the 2019-20 academic year.
 
Kentucky freshmen Case Cox, Luis Grassow, Charlie Trevisan, William Wagner and Jansen Wilson, as well as redshirt freshmen John Michael Bandy, Jack Hudson and Colin Innes, sophomores Elijah Borneo, Daniel Evans, Cole Guindon, Clay Holstad, Brock Lindow, Marcel Meinzer and Robert Screen, redshirt sophomore Nicolas Blassou, juniors Kalil ElMedkhar, Leon Jones and Bailey Rouse, and redshirt juniors Aimé Mabika and Keyarash Namjoupanah each earned a spot on the list.
 
Last February, Bandy, Blassou, Borneo, ElMedkhar, Evans, Guindon, Holstad, Hudson, Innes, Jones, Lindow, Mabika, Meinzer, Namjoupanah, Rouse and Screen earned a place alongside senior Jackson Hawthorne on the Southeastern Conference Fall Sports Academic Honor Roll.
 
Rouse, a civil engineering major with a 3.788 GPA, received the Wildcats’ 21st all-time C-USA All-Academic nod in November.
