UK Women’s Tennis Resumes Florida Road Trip at Invitational
VERO BEACH, Fla. – Two days after opening its regular season with a win at Florida Gulf Coast, the University of Kentucky women’s tennis team will compete at the Vero Beach Invite in Vero Beach, Florida, Jan. 10-12. Featuring Kentucky, Loyola Marymount and Virginia Tech, the tournament will be played in a hidden-dual, round-robin format.
Hosted at the Vero Beach Country Club, the first serve will begin each day at 11 a.m. ET.
The schedule is as follows:
Friday, Jan. 9
Doubles
Loyola Marymount vs. Kentucky
Singles
Kentucky vs. Virginia Tech
Saturday, Jan. 10
Doubles
Virginia Tech vs. Loyola Marymount
Singles
Loyola Marymount vs. Kentucky
Sunday, Jan. 11
Doubles
Kentucky vs. Virginia Tech
Live scoring will not be available, but the results can be found on the women’s tennis schedule page at UKathletics.com at the end of the tournament. The result from this tournament will not affect the team’s and individual regular-season records, however the scores will affect individual overall tennis record.
