Kentucky Women’s Soccer Hosts No. 7 South Carolina on Thursday

LEXINGTON, Ky.- Kentucky (5-6-2, 0-4-0 SEC) hosts No. 7 South Carolina (10-1-0, 4-0-0 SEC) on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET at The Bell. This game will be streamed live on SEC Network+ with Dave Baker and Payton Atkins on the call.
 
The Wildcats come into this game after losing 2-0 at Tennessee on Sunday afternoon. Freshman forward Hannah Richardson leads the team in goals scored with eight through her first 12 games played, while fellow freshman forward Jordyn Rhodes has four goals and an assist through 13 games played. Senior midfielder Foster Ignoffo leads all active players in assists with two this season.
 
The Gamecocks enter this contest on a four-game win-streak, opening up their SEC schedule with a spotless record. In its last time out, South Carolina defeated Missouri by a score of 1-0. 
 
Elexa Bahr, Luciana Zullo and Lauren Chang lead the Gamecocks in goals scored with four apiece, while Bahr also leads the team in assists with five through 11 games played. 10 other players have scored at least one goal for the seventh-ranked team in the country.
