Fans should also keep in mind that UK Baseball is playing at 4 p.m. ET at Kentucky Proud Park, so traffic may be heavy in the area.
Both Tuesday’s game with Miami and Wednesday’s game with Syracuse (2 p.m. ET) will be shown live on the SEC Network+, ESPN3 and the ESPN app with Dave Baker and NFCA Executive Director, Carol Bruggeman on the call from Lexington.
The Wildcats are riding a season-high six-game winning streak after an impressive road performance at South Carolina in which the Wildcats outscored the Gamecocks 21-3 on their own field. It was UK’s first sweep of a top-12 team since a three-game sweep of No. 8 LSU in 2016.
Kentucky is 6-2 all-time against the RedHawks. The last meeting came at the Chattanooga Frost Classic, when UK won, 8-0 in five innings on Feb. 23, 2016. The last, and only, Miami wins in the series came in 1997, UK’s first year of softball, in a DH sweep.
Wednesday’s meeting be the first all-time meeting between Kentucky and Syracuse.
