Lextran Operating Kroger Field/Keeneland Shuttle Saturday

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Allowing fans to enjoy a signature fall tradition in Lexington, Lextran has partnered with UK and Keeneland to operate a shuttle between Kroger Field and the historic racetrack on Saturday.
 
With the Wildcats set to host Vanderbilt at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Lextran will offer shuttle service for $1 each way for fans planning to combine a day at the races with an evening cheering on the 5-1 Kentucky football team. Exact change is required.
 
Shuttles from Kroger Field to Keeneland will run from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and fans can load the buses for the shuttle near the corner of University and Complex Drive on campus. Shuttles from Keeneland will leave beginning at 11:30 a.m. and fans will be dropped off at the same location as pickup. The last shuttle will leave Keeneland at 8 p.m.
 
Fans will be able to ride the shuttles whether or not they have reserved parking passes at Kroger Field. Fans with reserved parking permits at Kroger Field for Saturday’s game are encouraged to park in their respective lots, while fans without reserved parking should park in non-permit parking locations. All football game-day parking and permit policies will be enforced.
 
Fans planning to go to Keeneland first are encouraged to park downtown at or near the Transit Center Garage (150 E. Vine St.) and take the Keeneland Shuttle outboundParking is available in the Transit Center Garage for $3.00. More information about parking information downtown is available here.
