Kentucky Travels to Tuscaloosa to Face Off with Crimson Tide
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference season rolls on Thursday night at the Alabama Soccer Complex in Tuscaloosa as the Kentucky Wildcats travel south to play the Alabama Crimson Tide in an 8 p.m. ET match.
The match will be shown live on the SEC Network+, ESPN+ and the ESPN app. Roger Hoover (pxp) and Haylie MacDonald (color) will be calling the match with Meggi Hetzel on the touchline. Alex Seiver produces.

The banged-up and injury-laden Wildcats will be looking to snap a season-high five-match losing streak on Thursday night with at least four starters confirmed out for the season with year-ending injuries. Kentucky played the No. 11 Tennessee Lady Vols on Friday night to a 3-1 scoreline with Hollie Olding scoring the Wildcats’ first goal in SEC play this season in the 86th minute of the match.
Kentucky leads the all-time series with Alabama 13-5-2. The Wildcats are unbeaten in six of its last seven against the Crimson Tide, and four in a row. The last UK loss in the series came in 2012 in an overtime loss to Alabama in Lexington. The last Kentucky loss in Tuscaloosa came in 2009, a 2-0 loss to the Tide. UK is 5-3-1 all-time on the road against Alabama.
The two teams did not play in 2017. This will be Ian Carry’s first match-up with Alabama’s Wes Hart.
