Bearcat Invitational Canceled Due to Heavy Rain

CINCINNATI, Ohio – With heavy rain in the Cincinnati, Ohio, area officials of the Bearcat Invitational have canceled the two-day, 54-hole event.
In what was the Kentucky men’s golf team’s second fall event, play began this morning around 8:45 a.m. ET with players able to complete three-to-four holes. Play was halted with heavy rain moving into the area.
With the forecast projecting continuous heavy rain for the duration of the tournament, the decision was made to cancel the event.
Kentucky is scheduled to play in the Franklin American Mortgage Intercollegiate in College Grove, Tennessee, Oct 7-9.
