Ford, Hutchins Walk at Spring 2018 Commencement
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky Wildcats Stuart Ford and Noah Hutchins completed their degrees this semester and walked at graduation last weekend.
Ford and Hutchins had two of the most decorated careers in program history, both in terms of team results and individual accolades. They were on teams that made the NCAA Tournament three times, won the 2015 Conference USA Championship and earned the program’s first NCAA Tournament Top-16-seed in 2016.
Hutchins played 57 career games, scoring nine goals and three assists. He scored five game winning goals, including three ranked game-winning goals as a junior and scored the goal in double OT to clinch the Conference USA title at Charlotte in 2015. He graduated having been named to the SEC Honor Roll multiple times with a degree in management.
Ford graduated an honor roll student with a degree in community leadership development, and in 2016 played every match as a junior, earning All-Southeast Region honors. He kept nine clean sheets, helping UK to a final record of 11-5-3 in 2016.
They joined December 2017 UK men’s soccer graduates Callum Irving, Napo Matsoso, Landon Souder, Stefan Stojkovic and Jordan WIlson.
