POSTGAME NOTES
- Louisville advances to the Final Four for the third time in school history. The Cardinals will play Friday in Columbus, Ohio against the winner of tonight’s game between Mississippi State and UCLA.
- Asia Durr of Louisville is the Most Outstanding Player of the Lexington Region.
- Joining her on the Lexington Region All-Tournament Team are Myisha Hines-Allen, Arica Carter and Sam Fuehring of Louisville, along with Marie Gulich of Oregon State.
Louisville Notes:
- Louisville is 36-2, extending its school record for most wins in a season. The Cardinals have won 11 in a row.
- Louisville advances to the Final Four for the third time in school history, also in 2009 and 2013, all under the guidance of Coach Jeff Walz.
- Louisville is 2-0 all-time vs. Oregon State.
- Louisville dominated the turnover battle, forcing 17 turnovers while committing only three miscues. Louisville dominated points off turnovers, 24-0.
- Four Cardinals scored in double figures, led by 18 points from Asia Durr, the regional’s Most Outstanding Player.
- Hines-Allen scored 16 points and added three steals. Fuehring scored 14 points while Carter tallied 10.
Oregon State Notes:
- Oregon State finishes the season 26-8.
- Today marked OSU’s second Elite Eight appearance in school history, the other being a 2016 win over Baylor that put the Beavers in the Final Four.
- Regional All-Tournament selection Marie Gulich led the Beavers with 14 points and eight rebounds.
- Taya Corosdale was next with 11 points and six rebounds
