Kentucky Wraps Up Penultimate Day at NCAA Championships
MINNEAPOLIS – The Kentucky men’s swimming and diving team completed its second day of action at the 2018 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday in Minneapolis.
Senior Isaac Jones opened up the Wildcats’ action on Friday, finishing 36th in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:35.58.
Junior diver Seb Masterton competed on the 3-meter springboard for Kentucky, placing 21st in the event with a score of 359.60.
Both will be in back for tomorrow’s final day of competition. Jones is set to compete in the 1,650 free, while Masterton will be joined by freshman Chase Lane in the platform diving competition.
Saturday’s events will follow the same schedule as previous days with prelims beginning at 11 a.m. ET and the finals session will begin at 7 p.m.
