Hollie Olding Earns Start vs. USA In La Manga Tournament

LA MANGA, Spain – Kentucky freshman midfielder Hollie Olding earned a start for the English National Team in a credible 2-2 draw on Friday afternoon as the 2018 La Manga U-19 Tournament kicked off from Spain.
 
Olding, who was a captain for Kentucky as a freshman during the 2017 season, playing over 600 minutes on the pitch for the Blue and White and has received countless call-ups for the Lionesses to represent her country on international stages just like teammates Sophie Stewart-Hobbs (New Zealand) and Yuuka Kurosaki (Japan).
 
The 2018 La Manga Tournament will serve as a tune up for the Elite phase of qualification for the 2019 UEFA European Championships to be held July 16-29 in Finland.
 
Holland, England, United States, Norway, Italy and France are all competing in Spain at the national tournament
