UK Sports Network Announces “First on the Floor” Schedule
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The UK Sports Network has announced the return of “First on the Floor,” the official live pregame digital show for Kentucky men’s basketball. The show will make its 2017-18 season debut prior to the Virginia Tech game Saturday.
Airing twice last season before the UCLA and Kansas games, the UK Sports Network has expanded the show schedule and will air it five times during the 2017-18 Kentucky men’s basketball season. The 30-minute program will air approximately two hours and 15 minutes prior to each game, leading right into the UK Sports Network’s Texas Roadhouse Countdown to Tipoff pregame radio show.
Produced live from courtside at Rupp Arena, “First on the Floor” will feature exclusive preview coverage of that day’s game with hosts Dave Baker and Rex Chapman, along with special guests, including Kenny Walker, who will join Saturday’s show.
Fans will be able to watch the shows live via UKathletics.com, the UK Athletics app presented by Hunt Brothers Pizza and on the Kentucky men’s basketball Facebook page.
