LEXINGTON, Ky. – No. 20/21 Kentucky  will welcome the South Carolina Gamecocks to The Bell on Sunday for the annual de facto Southeastern Conference Men’s Soccer Championship.

First touch is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET and the match will be streamed live on ESPN3.

The setup and history
Both affiliate members of Conference USA for men’s soccer, Kentucky (6-2-2, 3-1-0 C-USA) and South Carolina (4-6-1, 0-2-1 C-USA)) are the only two Southeastern Conference  schools that sponsor varsity men’s soccer. As such, the fixture is colloquially known as the SEC Championship Game.

UK trails the all-time series 6-7-3, but is 4-3-1 when playing in Lexington. The Gamecocks won the last time the two teams played, a year ago in Columbia, 2-1.

Freshman goalkeeper Enrique Facusse is ranked 17th in the country with a goals-against average of 0.65.

The logistics
The first 150 fans and 150 students that enter The Bell will receive vuvuzelas.

Additionally, UK will be giving away the sixth of nine editions in this season’s match posters.

Tickets are $5 for the general public and $2 for youth and seniors. Fans can purchase tickets online via Ticketmaster or by calling (800) 928-2287, or at the ticket window at The Bell.

Fans will have the opportunity to get the autographs from the UK junior class on the side of the pitch following the match – weather permitting.

Parking for the match is first come first serve, located outside the stadium’s main entrance and in the Kroger Field blue and green lots with continuous shuttle service running from car parks up to the front gates of The Bell beginning at 1:05 p.m.

The shuttle will continue until one hour after the match.

Kentucky Athletics is excited to utilize ticket scanning at The Bell this season. Season ticket holders receive individual game barcoded tickets to be scanned on game day.
