What We've Accomplished: Five Years with Coach Flo at UK

Oh how far we’ve come.

Kentucky head coach Edrick Floreal had lofty goals for Kentucky’s track and field and cross country programs when he arrived in Lexington in the autumn of 2012.

Five season’s later, those ideas that few took seriously when Coach Flo got to Lexington after a stint coaching Team USA at the London Olympics have materialized in quality and quantity.

The numbers don’t lie, but perhaps most impressive is just the fact that the best athletes in the world now choose Lexington as a training base.

But upon closer inspection it makes plenty of sense: a world-class university, world-class facilities, all the support elite students and elite athletes can ask for and some of the best coaching in the world.

Then again, Kentucky is about always going forward.
