NCAA Softball Selection Show Pegged for ESPN2

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The NCAA, in conjunction with its television partners at ESPN, announced on Wednesday night that the 2017 NCAA Softball Selection Show will now air on ESPN2. The show will be hosted by the Women’s College World Series announce team of Beth Mowins, Michele Smith and Amanda Scarbrough.
The field of 64 teams, along with the 16 regional host sites will be unveiled at 10 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 14 in an hour-long selection special. The show was originally scheduled to air on ESPNU – but will now make the switch over to ESPN2.
Kentucky concludes regular season play this weekend with a three-game series at (RV) Mississippi State beginning Friday night at 7:30 p.m. ET. The 2017 Southeastern Conference Tournament will be May 10-13 at Lee Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee.
