Cats Set for Kroger Blue-White Spring Game Friday

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky football team is about to round out a productive spring by playing under the lights in Commonwealth Stadium. The Wildcats will take the field in front of fans for the Kroger Blue-White Spring Game on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

The game will feature a scrimmage between the Blue and White teams. The Blue team will be comprised of members of UK’s first team and a handful of others and will face the White team, made up of the Wildcats’ second and third team. UK’s quarterbacks will wear anthracite jerseys.
Tickets for the game are still available online at Ticketmaster.com or by phone through Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000. Tickets are free, but there is a small service charge per ticket. Tickets still available on game day may be picked up free of charge at the stadium ticket office prior to kickoff, based on availability.
UK students may obtain free tickets at the Joe Craft Center ticket office. Students may pick up two tickets per ID.
Parking in the lots surrounding Commonwealth Stadium will be free and open to the public for the Blue-White Spring Game. All lots will open at 4 p.m. on game day.
The game will air live and in its entirety on the SEC Network. Additionally, Tom Leach and Freddie Maggard – substituting for Jeff Piecoro – will call the game for the UK Sports Network’s radio broadcast with Dick Gabriel reporting from the sidelines.
After the game, the UK Sports Network will air an exclusive live stream to break down the action featuring Maggard, Jeremy Jarmon and Christi Thomas with UK players and coaches joining as guests. The stream will begin immediate after the game and can be found live on UKathletics.com, the UK Gameday App and on Facebook Live through Kentucky football’s official page.
The Blue-White Spring Game will be the final chance for fans to see the Wildcats in action in Commonwealth Stadium before fall. UK will start the season on the road at Southern Miss on Sept. 2 before playing its home opener vs. Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 9.
