Open Letter to Kentucky Baseball Alumni

Calling All Kentucky Baseball Alumni!
It has been an incredible first two months in Lexington! First, I would like to thank you all for stopping by the office, the letters, phone calls, and text messages welcoming my wife Christen, son Reeves, and myself back to the University of Kentucky. The amount of support has been remarkable and we are grateful for the time that each of you took to make us feel at home.
Our staff has been putting in long hours working to ensure that we continue to build upon the success that you started here. In order to get OUR program to an elite level, it will take a tremendous effort from everyone in the Kentucky FAMILY! That means players, coaches, staff, administration, fans and, most importantly, the alumni. We need each and every one of you to be a part of our TEAM in order for us to reach our ultimate goal of winning NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS in OMAHA. This brings me to the purpose for this letter.
This letter is an open invitation for you and your FAMILY to attend our Alumni Weekend on October 21-22. Festivities will include a golf outing on Friday morning, an alumni/celebrity home run derby Friday night, and a tailgate on Saturday prior to the home football game against Mississippi State. For additional information on the weekend’s events, as well as details on how to RSVP, please contact Jack Hoehl in the baseball office at (859) 257-8052 or email him at jack.hoehl@uky.edu
Also, whether you are able to attend the Alumni Weekend or not, we would appreciate you taking the time to fill out a quick information form linked below. We are currently trying to update our contact database and this will help us facilitate material on future events to you.
We are excited about what lies ahead for the future of the program, but we are equally excited to honor the past. We hope to see all of you in Lexington in October, but for those who are unable to make it we look forward to reconnecting with you soon!
Sincerely,
Nick Mingione
