The University of Kentucky Men’s Golf program continues to achieve tremendous success on the course, and 2005 SEC Coach of the Year Brian Craig and his staff are eager to share the secrets of their success with you! For 2015, UK is offering two different styles of camps!
Camp Staff
Brian Craig – 14th year as UK Head Men’s Coach
- SEC Coach of the Year: 2004-05
- SEC Champions: 2004-05
- Eaton Golf Pride Midwest Coach of the Year: 2003-04, 2004-05
- Golf Coaches Association of America Regional Coach of the Year: 2004, 2005
- NCAA Central Regional Champions: 2003-04
- Led the Wildcats to three consecutive top-eight finishes at the NCAA Championships: 2003-04 (8th), 2004-05 (7th), 2005-06 (5th)
- Under Craig’s tenure, UK has recorded more than half (four) of UK’s appearances in the NCAA Championship
Jessie Mudd – 4th year as UK Assistant Men’s Coach
- SEC Co-Freshman of the Year in 2004
- All-SEC second team in 2004
- All-American at the University of Florida 2003-2004
- Two-time Polo All-American by the AJGA
- Kentucky Mr. Golf in 2002 and 2003
- Entered his senior year of high school as the No. 1 ranked junior golfer in the nation, according to Golfweek
Robbie Davis – 19th year as Head Women’s Coach at Florida Southern College
- 25 tournament titles, 18 in the last eight years
- Four national championships, two regional championship title, and three conference titles
- Runner up 6 times at the NCAA Championship
- Twenty-eight players earned All-America honors, 19 of them 1st team All-America
- Sunshine State Conference Coach-of-the-Year 5 times, Golfweek Magazine National Coach of the Year 3 times, NGCA South Region Coach-of-the-Year, and NGCA National Coach-of-the-Year
The Wildcat Elite Academy is a unique learning experience that will focus on the finer skills required to play golf at the highest level, and is open to anyone who is interested in playing tournament golf. This is a DAY CAMP only.
The Wildcat Golf Academy is our overnight residence camp, and it truly has something for everybody. Golf activities typically last 9-10 hours per day, combined with a few seminars and other extra curricular activities. This camp offers overnight and day camp tuition rates. The Wildcat Golf Academy offers tremendous golf instruction and the ultimate University of Kentucky experience!
Both camps are at the University Club of Kentucky, and the staff will consist of UK Golf Coaches and current members of the Men’s and Women’s UK Golf Teams (according to their summer class schedules) as well as other collegiate coaches.
Our No. 1 goal is to create a learning environment where the student can improve and have a great time in the process. We sincerely hope you decide to attend one of our camps and take part in the excitement that is UK Golf!
Wildcat Elite Academy
- May 23-24 (DAY CAMP ONLY) – $350 per camper
- June 6-7 (DAY CAMP ONLY) – $350 per camper
ELITE ACADEMY DISCOUNTS
- $25 discount per entrant that is on the same school team (2 or more)
- $25 discount per sibling signing up together
The Wildcat Elite Academy is very different from any other camp you will find. Our goal is to teach you the finer skills and techniques required to play your best. For two days, we will work with your natural ability and cover everything necessary to help you maximize your potential. We will also conduct three classroom seminars, and answer any questions you may have about competitive golf after high school. NOTE: This camp is two full days of hands on instruction on the lesson tee and short game areas only.
ELIGIBILITY
Boys & girls ages 12-18 who have a desire to play tournament golf. Camp is limited to the first 18 paid entrants of the Wildcat Elite Academy.
Wildcat Golf Academy
- July 7-11 OVERNIGHT CAMPER – $775 per camper
- July 7-11 DAY CAMPER – $700 per camper
GOLF ACADEMY DISCOUNT
- $50 discount per entrant that is on the same school team (2 or more)
- $75 discount per sibling signing up together
TYPICAL DAILY SCHEDULE

- Evening Activities (Player/Coaches Panel, Rules, Gattitown, Swim, etc…)

ELIGIBILITY
Any boy or girl ages 10-18. Camp is limited to the first 30 paid entrants of the Wildcat Golf Academy.
For campers to stay overnight at any UK Athletics Camp, the camper must be at least 12 years of age at the start of the camp
Multi-Camp Discount
$100 discount for any two camps combined
Medical Info and Requirements
UK camps require the following forms to be completed prior to participation:
- Registration & Payment (online preferred)
- Parental Consent Waiver
- Copy of Physical Form (must be signed by a physician in the last 12 months)
- Copy of the front and back of health insurance card
