LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 18 Kentucky women’s tennis travels to the state of Alabama for a pair of weekend matches. The Wildcats face No. 9 Alabama on Friday at 6 p.m. ET before traveling to No. 49 Auburn on Sunday at Noon.

Kentucky (14-6, 5-2 Southeastern Conference) has won three in a row and takes to the road for just the second time in SEC action. UK enters the weekend in fourth place in the league and is one of six teams with a winning conference record.

Kentucky enters the weekend ranked No. 18 in the latest ITA team rankings. In the individual rankings, junior Nadia Ravita is 76th and freshman Mami Adachi is No. 121. In doubles, Ravita and sophomore Aldila Sutjiadi are 28th.

No. 9 Alabama is 13-4 on the season and 5-3 in SEC play. The Crimson Tide own a perfect 5-0 record at home and have lost two out of their last three after a four-match winning streak.

Three Crimson Tide are ranked in the singles top 125. Erin Routliffe is No. 30, while Maya Jansen is ranked No. 48 and Danielle Spielmann is No. 66.

Forty-ninth-ranked Auburn owns an 11-8 mark and a 1-6 league record entering the weekend. The Tigers, who open the weekend vs. Vanderbilt on Friday, have lost four in a row, all in SEC action.

Auburn’s Pleun Burgmans is No. 68 in the ITA National Singles Rankings.

UK returns home for a matchup vs. Florida on April 3 and a senior match contest vs. South Florida on April 5.
