LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky baseball team will host several promotional opportunities for its Southeastern Conference home-opening weekend vs. No. 13 Mississippi State.

The weekend will be dubbed Teacher Appreciation Weekend, with all teachers able to get up to four free tickets to each game by pre-registering via email to greg.herbert@uky.edu. Also, fans can submit their favorite teacher to WeAreUK@uky.edu and enter them in for a personalized UK jersey. In addition, all fans can get $1 off their ticket prices by mentioning the Teacher Appreciation Weekend promotion.

Friday’s series opener with the Bulldogs will also mark the first set of trading card giveaways to the first 1,000 fans. Saturday will serve as the main day of the Teacher Appreciation Weekend and Sunday fans are invited to a postgame autograph session.

Kentucky will host Mississippi State at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, 2 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday at Cliff Hagan Stadium.
