No. 21 Women's Tennis Hosts Tulane, EKU Sunday

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 21 Kentucky women’s tennis team returns home to host Tulane and Eastern Kentucky on Sunday. UK and Tulane square off at Noon, ET, while the Wildcats welcome in-state foe EKU to Lexington at 6 p.m.
The Wildcats (7-4) own a perfect 5-0 record at home, having only lost two sets in 2015 at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex. Kentucky comes home after making its first appearance at the ITA National Indoor Championships since 2005.

Kentucky enters Sunday’s match ranked No. 21 in the latest ITA team rankings. In the individual rankings, junior Nadia Ravita is 85th, while freshman Mami Adachi makes her first career appearance in the rankings at No. 108. Both Ravita and Adachi were not ranked in the preseason rankings. In doubles, Ravita and sophomore Aldila Sutjiadi are 56th.
Tulane comes to Lexington with a 7-1 record. The Green Wave opened the year with seven consecutive wins, two of them on the road. TU is coming off a 6-1 loss at Ole Miss on Friday.
Eastern Kentucky owns a 2-4 record in 2015 and is coming off a 5-2 win over Lindsey Wilson College on Friday. The Colonols also defeated Lincoln Memorial, 7-0.
After hosting the Green Wave and Colonols, the Wildcats are back on the road in San Diego on Feb. 20 and 22. UK faces San Diego on Feb. 20 before meeting San Diego State on Feb. 22. UK returns home on Feb. 27 for its SEC opener vs. Ole Miss at 6 p.m. ET.
