Kentucky falls to 15-4, 4-2 SEC, while LSU improves to 10-8, 4-2 SEC.
Kentucky moves to 727-490 (65.1) all-time in 41 seasons of varsity women’s basketball and 192-160 (56.8) in the month of January.
Matthew Mitchell, UK’s all-time winningest coach, falls to 215-104 overall, 185-75 at UK.
- Mitchell is now 75-39 in SEC play and 5-8 vs. LSU.
This was the 44th meeting between the programs since UK became a varsity sport in 1974-75.
- LSU leads the all-time series 32-11, including 14-3 in games played on the Bayou.

LSU closed the half on a 9-4 run after Kentucky had a 34-30 lead with 3:46 to go before halftime.
The lead changed five different times, with 10 ties in the opening 20 minutes.
UK is now 6-3 when trailing at halftime this season, including 2-1 in SEC play.

UK began the second half with Makayla Epps, Azia Bishop, Bria Goss, Jen O’Neill and Alexis Jennings.
Kentucky was down 10 points with 11:10 to go in the game, and rallied to tie the game at 62-62 with 7:47 to go in the game.

Sophomore Linnae Harper charted her fourth career double-double with 16 points and a career-high 15 rebounds.
- Her previous high in rebounds was 14 vs. Ole Miss on Jan. 4, 2015.
- Most rebounds since DeNesha Stallworth had 20 vs. Mississippi State on Feb. 27, 2014.
- Has grabbed five or more rebounds in 12 games this season.
Freshman Alexis Jennings charted her first career double-double with 13 points and a career-high 11 rebounds, including seven offensive boards.
- Her previous high in rebounds was eight vs. Tennessee State on Dec. 28, 2014.
Senior Bria Goss, in her second game back after missing six straight due to a broken left thumb, scored 12 points and swiped a season-high four steals.
- Hit 7-of-7 from the charity stripe and now leads the team in FT shooting percentage at 75.6 percent (34-of-45).
Sophomore Makayla Epps added 10 points, her second straight game in double figures and 15th of the season.
- Dished out a team-high five assists.
