Team Records and Series Notes

  • Kentucky falls to 15-4, 4-2 SEC, while LSU improves to 10-8, 4-2 SEC.
  • Kentucky moves to 727-490 (65.1) all-time in 41 seasons of varsity women’s basketball and 192-160 (56.8) in the month of January.
  • Matthew Mitchell, UK’s all-time winningest coach, falls to 215-104 overall, 185-75 at UK.

    • Mitchell is now 75-39 in SEC play and 5-8 vs. LSU.

  • Freshman Alexis Jennings charted her first career double-double with 13 points and a career-high 11 rebounds, including seven offensive boards.

  • Senior Bria Goss, in her second game back after missing six straight due to a broken left thumb, scored 12 points and swiped a season-high four steals.
