OXFORD, Miss. – The sixth-ranked Kentucky rifle team will compete for the first time in more than a month, when it takes on No. 17 Ole Miss beginning at 7 a.m. ET on Saturday inside the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center.

Kentucky enters Saturday’s matchup with a 7-1 record, with the one loss having come against No. 2 Alaska-Fairbanks.  

The Wildcats are 3-0 in Great American Rifle Conference competition this season, and they will look to improve upon that mark against two conference opponents this weekend: Ole Miss and Memphis.

The Wildcats closed out 2014 with a 4676-4669 victory over then No. 5 Nebraska.

The Wildcats will look to solidify a its top-5 lineup as they enter the spring as head coach Harry Mullins experimented with multiple combinations in both air rifle and smallbore during the fall portion of the campaign to varying degrees of success.

Kentucky will face No. 9 Memphis in Memphis at 7 a.m. ET on Sunday.
