LEXINGTON, Ky. – College Football’s Open Season presented by Mercedes-Benz, which takes college football fans behind the scenes with teams from the Southeastern Conference, will feature second-year head coach Mark Stoops and the University of Kentucky football team on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET nationally on CBS.

College Football’s Open Season presented by Mercedes-Benz, will air consecutive 30-minute episodes on Saturday starting at 2 p.m. ET. The first episode will feature teams from the SEC West, while the second episode will feature teams from the SEC East, including Kentucky.

The show aims to give an early season look at every SEC team. According to a release from the show, Kentucky’s segment will focus on Stoops’ defensive mindset and how he is changing the football culture at UK. The UK section of the show will also feature practice footage and interviews with defensive coordinator D.J. Eliot, offensive lineman Jordan Swindle and defensive linemen Alvin “Bud” Dupree and Za’Darius Smith.

Kentucky will battle Vanderbilt in its SEC home opener on Saturday at noon ET at Commonwealth Stadium.
