LEXINGTON, Ky. – Coming off a school-record ninth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament and a 14-4 home record, season tickets are now on sale for the 2014 Kentucky volleyball season. The home slate features 18 contests in Memorial Coliseum, including nine against Southeastern Conference foes.

Fans may purchase season tickets by calling the UK Ticket Office at 800-928-CATS or online at UKAthletics.com/tickets. Reserved season tickets (sections C-G) are now on sale for $50, while general admission season tickets are available for $35.

Single match tickets will go on sale August 18. Reserved tickets (sections C-G) are $5 each, regardless of age. General admission tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for seniors (65+) and youth (6-18), while children age five and under are admitted free of charge. UK students and faculty/staff are admitted free with a valid UK student/employee ID.  General admission group tickets (20 or more individuals) are $4 for adults and $1 for youth/seniors, if purchased in advance.

UK’s challenging 2014 home schedule includes 11 matches against teams that made the 2013 NCAA Tournament. In addition to hosting rival Tennessee and Florida and defending SEC champion Missouri, Kentucky will host a pair of four-team tournaments during the first two weekends of competition.

A strong home court advantage in 2013 fueled the Wildcats to a 14-4 record in Memorial Coliseum, which included an upset win over No. 4 and then-undefeated Minnesota and a five-set victory over in-state rival Louisville. The Wildcats were 7-2 in SEC matches inside the historic venue.

Head coach Craig Skinner begins his 10th season with the Wildcats as the program’s second all-time winningest coach. With 202 victories, he is seven wins shy of tying UK’s all-time wins mark of 209, set by Kathy DeBoer from 1984-92.

The NCAA Tournament’s First and Second Rounds will be held Dec. 5-7 on campus sites, when UK will look to make its 10th consecutive postseason appearance.
