The University of Kentucky men’s basketball program is pleased to announce the 2014 Kroger John Calipari ProCamps, which will take place July 28-29. Former players from the UK’s 2014 Final Four team Julius Randle and James Young will be featured as this year’s pros.

This summer’s ProCamps I and II will be split into two separate camps and a new location. ProCamp I will take place on the mornings of July 28-29 on the campus of the University of Kentucky at the Joe Craft Center and Memorial Coliseum, and ProCamp II will be held off campus in the afternoons of July 28-29 at Sports of All Sorts in Florence, Ky.

The cost for each camp is $199 per camper and includes a camp T-shirt, two days of instruction, competitions, autograph session and camp team photo with the featured Wildcat pros.

The ProCamps are open to both boys and girls entering grades K-7th. Camper’s grade level is based on the grade in which the camper will enroll during the fall of 2014 school year.

All pre-registered campers will receive a confirmation e-mail for their specific camp/session that includes details of necessary paperwork needed (physical, insurance and consent). To ensure the safety and participation of all campers, it is important that the basketball office receives all necessary paperwork two weeks prior to the start of the specific camp date.

Due to the limited number of spots available for each ProCamp, walk-up registration will not be available unless noted on the UK Athletics website (ukathletics.com/camps) prior to the start of camp. Once each ProCamp has reached its maximum capacity, that particular camp will be closed to all forms of registration (online and walk-ups).

Any camp-related questions can be called into the men’s basketball camp line at 859-257-9457.

Cancellation policy: The $100 deposit is nonrefundable except in the case of injury, illness or mandatory school event. If a cancellation is made for any other reason, tuition will be refunded less the $100 deposit if the cancellation is made before the first day of camp. Once the camp session has begun there will be no refunds, except in the case of injury or illness. This includes the cancellation of practices due to severe weather. The convenience fee associated with online registration is nonrefundable.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing via the refund request form. If the reason for cancellation is due to injury or illness, written documentation from the camper’s physician must be provided.
