I would like to take this opportunity to personally invite you to the 2014 Kentucky Women’s Basketball Camps. Our camps guarantee an exciting and fun-filled experience. The camps provide a complete, in-depth basketball experience emphasizing fundamentals in order to allow young girls to reach their full potential. In addition, our camps allow participants to receive great instruction from the Kentucky Women’s Basketball coaches and players.

INDIVIDUAL OVERNIGHT CAMP • JUNE 8-10

The individual camp is for students entering grades five through twelve next fall and is designed to develop the total basketball player. Campers must be at least 12 years or older to stay in the dorms.

All campers under the age of 12 must be commuters.

Campers receive detailed instruction about ball handling, passing, dribbling, footwork, defense and rebounding. Each camper participates in league games as well as a variety of individual competitions. For young girls there is no better way to enjoy vacation than to shoot some hoops on the University of Kentucky campus and learn from the Wildcats.

Overnight – $315

Includes room, meals, camp fee and camp t-shirt

Commuter – $250

Includes lunch and dinner, camp fee and camp t-shirt

Please do not include the key deposit in your tuition balance check. The key deposit is fully refundable upon Check-out if the room key is not lost.

Camp Deposit is $100.00

For campers to stay overnight at any UK Athletics Camp, the camper must be at least 12 years of age at the start of the camp

ELITE CAMP • JUNE 27-28

Come and join us for UK Hoops’ annual elite camp. This camp is designed for the serious minded, advanced player looking to take their game to the next level. Campers will receive individual instruction on their skill development. Position play is the main focus and players will work on skills that will make them a better all around player. This camp is for students entering grades seven through twelve in the Fall.

Campers must be at least 12 years or older to stay in the dorms. All campers under the age of 12 must be commuters.

Overnight – $140 Commuter – $100

Includes lunch and dinner, camp fee and camp t-shirt

GUARDS SKILLS CLINIC • $50 per session

The Guard Skills Clinic is open to any player that wants to improve their knowledge as a point guard or shooting guard. Other position players are also encouraged to attend to develop a large skill set. Players will be taught the fundamentals of the guard position. Each player will receive individual instruction and attention from the Kentucky Women’s Basketball staff, camp instructors and current Women’s Basketball players. Players will work on ball handling, shooting, offensive moves, offensive footwork and defensive skills.

  • Session 1: June 11 (6:00 PM-9:00 PM) Joe Craft Center
  • Session 2: June 12 (6:00 PM-9:00 PM) Joe Craft Center

Check in for each session will be from 5:00-6:00 PM.

Age Groups: Blue Division (Entering 7th Grade-12th Grade); White Division (Entering 2nd Grade-6th Grade)

SHOOTING CLINIC • $110

This camp is open to all players entering the 2nd grade-12th grade. All players will receive instruction on how to develop your shooting techniques, participate in shooting drills and instruction to help develop their skill set. Each player will receive individual instruction and attention from the Kentucky Women’s Basketball staff, camp instructors and current Women’s Basketball players.

Lunch: 12:00 PM (Campers will be provided Lunch)

Age Groups: Blue Division (Entering 7th Grade-12th Grade); White Division (Entering 2nd Grade-6th Grade)

POST SKILLS CLINIC • $50 per session

The Post Player Skills Clinic is open to any player that wants to improve their knowledge at the post position. Players will be taught the fundamentals of the post position. Each player will receive individual instruction and attention from the Kentucky Women’s Basketball staff, camp instructors and current Women’s Basketball players. Players will work on offensive and defensive development in the post position, offensive moves and footwork, post defensive fundamentals, and more!

  • Session 1: June 25 (6:00 PM-9:00 PM) Joe Craft Center
  • Session 2: June 26 (6:00 PM-9:00 PM) Joe Craft Center

Check in for each session will be from 5:00-6:00 PM.

Age Groups: Blue Division (Entering 7th Grade-12th Grade); White Division (Entering 2nd Grade-6th Grade)
