NORFOLK, Va. — The Kentucky men’s soccer team will open its 2013 road Conference USA schedule with a matchup at Old Dominion, with kickoff slated for Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Kentucky (2-5, 0-1 C-USA) will open its road league slate with ODU on Friday, with the Wildcats coming off a 2-1 loss to No. 14 UAB on Sunday in Lexington. The Monarchs are unbeaten in their last four matches and are coming off a 2-1 win at No. 9 Tulsa. The lone loss of the year for ODU came in a 2-1 result against No. 1 Creighton on Sept. 13.

UK has eight goals in its first seven games, allowing 10 goals. UK has posted a 108-49 advantage in shots and a 51-21 mark in corner kicks.

The Wildcats have been led offensively by sophomore midfielder Isak Krogstad, who has three goals and two assists. Senior Brad Doliner has two goals and one assist, with freshmen Kaelon Fox and Charlie Reymann each sporting a goal and an assist. Freshman Napo Matsoso has a goal, with freshman Sam Miller owning two assists and sophomores Jacob Scearce and Bryan Celis each charting an assist.

In goal for UK, Callum Irving has a 1.25 goals-against average with four saves in four games, owning two shutouts. Senior Jack Van Arsdale has started three games with a 1.67 goals-against average, with four saves.

The Wildcats will be meeting Old Dominion for the first time in the history of the program, with ODU moving into C-USA for the 2013 season.

Old Dominion (4-2-1, 1-0 C-USA) has scored 14 goals and allowed 11 in its first seven games. Individually, Tim Hopkinson has six goals and one assist to lead the team in scoring, with Ivan Militar owning three goals and two assists. Geoffrey Hill has two goals and an assist, with Jesse Miralrio charting a goal and an assist. Jason Gaylor has a goal, with Ryan Condotta, Michael Nelson and Cole Stringer owning assists. In goal, Sean Stowe has a 1.12 goals-against average in six games, with 19 saves.
