LEXINGTON, Ky. — The series with No. 8 Kentucky and Akron has been moved to a three-game set, starting on Friday at 4 p.m. ET at Cliff Hagan Stadium. UK will face the Zips on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET and Sunday at 1 p.m. ET to conclude the series.

Kentucky (7-1) will host Akron in the weekend series, with the set changing from a four-game series to a three-game matchup.

The Wildcats are coming off their first two home wins of the year, beating Murray State and Eastern Kentucky in a pair of rain-impacted contests. On Wednesday, UK got strong pitching from Ryne Combs, Dylan Dwyer, Walter Wijas and Trevor Gott in a 6-2 win over EKU.
