SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Due to heavy snow in the Spartanburg, S.C., area, No. 8 Kentucky’s baseball game with USC Upstate on Saturday has been postponed to Monday at 1 p.m. ET.

Kentucky was slated to play USC Upstate at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday but heavy snow blanketed the field, forcing the game to be postponed to Monday at 1 p.m. ET at Harley Park. UK will face Niagara on Sunday at 12 p.m. ET at Wofford.

Kentucky (1-0) opened its 2013 season with a 9-2 win over UNC Asheville on Friday, with sophomore A.J. Reed picking up the win with five innings on the mound and a four-hit game at the plate.
