Kentucky improves to 3-1, while Morehead State falls to 1-4.
Kentucky is in its 39th year of varsity play and owns an overall record of 659-472 (.583).
Head coach Matthew Mitchell is in his sixth year and ranks third on the all-time wins list (117-57) and third in winning percentage (.672)
- UK is now 53-19 (.736) in regular season, nonconference games under head coach Matthew Mitchell.
The Wildcats own a 360-140 (72.0) mark in Memorial Coliseum, including a 70-12 (85.4) mark under Mitchell.
- The Cats are 51-2 at home over the last three seasons.
- UK has now won 23 straight home contests – the third-longest winning streak in program history.
Kentucky has won 34 straight nonconference home games, dating back to Dec. 19, 2008.
UK is now 26-4 all-time against Morehead State and has won nine in a row.
- The Wildcats are now 18-1 vs. Morehead State in games played in Lexington.
- UK is now 91-17 against teams from the Ohio Valley Conference.

UK’s starting lineup featured A’dia Mathies, Bria Goss, Jennifer O’Neill, Samarie Walker and DeNesha Stallworth for the first time this season.
- O’Neill made her fourth career start and first since Dec. 30, 2010.
Stallworth recorded the first bucket of the game for the second time this season at the 19:46 mark.
Mathies’ bucket at the 11:27 mark tied her with Stacey Reed (1991-95) for 10th all-time on the UK’s scoring charts with 1,482 career points.
With the Wildcats leading 6-4, UK went on a 30-9 spurt to end the half.
The 13 points scored by Morehead State are the lowest points allowed by the Wildcats since they held Vanderbilt to 11 points on March 5, 2011.
- It marks the second straight game UK has limited its opponent to less than 20 points in a half. UK held High Point to 18 first half points.
UK had as many points off turnovers as Morehead State had points in the half (13).
- Kentucky won the turnover battle 13-6 in the first half for the fourth straight game.
UK outrebounded MSU 33-14 and had 19 offensive rebounds in the first half.

Juniors Samarie Walker and DeNesha Stallworth became the first UK players to record a double-double since Walker did it last season against Gonzaga (3/25/12).
- It marks the first time two Cats charted double-doubles since Victoria Dunlap and Amani Franklin accomplished the feat against Butler (11/15/09).
UK pulled down a season-high 63 rebounds, just three shy of the school record.
- The Wildcats had 34 offensive rebounds, more than Morehead’s total of 21.
UK had a season-high 10 blocks.
- It marks the most blocks since tallying 10 against McNeese State on Nov. 28, 2009.
UK allowed Morehead to just 37 points. It marks the first time the Wildcats have limited the opponent to 40 or less points since Mississippi State on Feb. 26, 2012.
UK allowed Morehead to just 28.8 percent shooting (15-of-52), marking the first time its held an opponent to 30 percent shooting or less since vs. Mississippi State on Feb. 26, 2012 (26.4).
UK is now 69-6 when scoring 70 or more points in the Matthew Mitchell era.
The Wildcats hit four 3-pointers, extending their streak of consecutive games with a triple to 296.
Kentucky forced 24 turnovers and has now forced double-digit miscues in 121 consecutive games.
- The Cats are 88-33 during that span.
- UK has forced 20-plus turnovers in 33 of their last 39 games dating back to the start of last season.

Junior Samarie Walker netted season-highs of 15 points and 13 rebounds. It marks her fourth career double-double.
- Tied her career high of three blocks and three assists.
Senior guard A’dia Mathies scored 11 points and grabbed a season-high six rebounds.
- She now has 1,491 career points and climbs to No.8 all-time on UK’s all-time scoring list, passing Liz Lukschu (No.9, 1977-81), SeSe Helm (No.10, 2000-04) and Stacey Reed No. 11, (1991-95).
- Mathies needs just five more steals to tie Rita Adams (267, 1999-2003) at No. 5 on the career charts.
- With four made field goals she ranks fifth on the all-time list with 116, passing Samantha Mahoney (No. 7, 2005-08) and Tiffany Wait (No. 6, 1995-2000)
Redshirt sophomore Jennifer O’Neill posted season-highs of seven points, four rebounds and two steals in her first start of the season.
Sophomore Bria Goss entered double-figures for the third time this season with 10 points, while grabbing a season-high seven rebounds.
Junior DeNesha Stallworth charted her first double-double as a Wildcat with 10 points and a season-best 10 rebounds and three blocks.
- Recorded her 13th career double-double (had 12 at Cal).
- Just 40 points shy of reaching 1,000 points in her career.
Sophomore Azia Bishop posted nine points and recorded a season-high 10 rebounds and two blocks.
