LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky men’s tennis team will continue its 2012 fall schedule starting on Friday afternoon as the Wildcats will be competing in the Louisville Classic in Louisville, Ky. The event begins Friday morning, with the tournament ending on Sunday afternoon. 

UK is coming off a successful weekend of split-squad action as the Cats competed in the Duke Fab Four Invite, as well as the Illinois Olympia Fields Classis in Chicago, Ill. The Wildcats’ Tom Jomby made it to the finals at Olympia Fields in one of the best tournaments of the junior’s career. In addition, senior Anthony Rossi advanced to the semifinals at the Fab Four invite, capturing yet another impressive performance in a talented field of players.

Brett Johnson, Beck Pennington, Maks Gold and will be making the trip up I-65, as all of them will compete in the singles competition. Gold and Binder will form one of the two doubles duos for the Cats, as Pennington and Johnson will tag team to form the second duo.

The event will be held at the Budd-Rass Tennis Center in Louisville, Ky.
