Playing off CBS' now-iconic video tribute, UK makes its own rendition of "One Shining Moment" at the CATSPY Awards, UK Athletics' annual awards banquet that recognizes athletic and academic performances during athletic year. The "One Shining Moment" award is given to a team that inspired others through their remarkable resiliency and unparalleled work ethic in achieving an ultimate goal. To no one's surprise Monday night, the UK men's basketball team was selected as this year's "One Shining Moment" winner.
