Kentucky improves to 11-1 overall, while Samford falls to 6-5.
Kentucky is now 1-0 against Samford all-time.

Freshman guard Bria Goss scored 11 points and grabbed four rebounds.

Senior guard Keyla Snowden scored 12 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Sophomore forward Samarie Walker played in her first home game as a Wildcat after sitting out the first semester, per NCAA transfer regulations.
- Walker scored 10 points on 5-10 shooting, grabbed a team-high seven rebounds for the second straight game, and blocked a team-high three shots.
Freshman forward/center Azia Bishop scored 13 points, grabbed four boards and had three steals in just 10 minutes of action.
Sophomore guard Kastine Evans scored 11 points to go with three boards and two steals.
Junior guard A’dia Mathies had nine points, six boards and three steals.
- It was the first game of the season where Mathies did not reach double figures in scoring.
