In preparation for the 2011 Kentucky men’s soccer season, UKathletics.com is rolling out a series of player questionnaires, allowing fans, friends and family to get an inside look at UK soccer.
The series will begin with UK sophomore defender Dylan Asher, who became just the second freshman All-America honoree in program history, joining teammate Matt Lodge. Asher earned second-team All-Conference USA accolades last year and was named to the Freshman All-Conference USA team.
Asher, a native of Richardson, Texas, led UK in minutes played as a freshman in 2010, logging 1767 ticks and starting all 19 games. A versatile and highly athletic defender, Asher played the duration of 18 of 19 games as a freshman also seeing time in the midfield with injuries struck the UK offensive attack.
