LEXINGTON, Ky. – Earlier today, The Lexington Center Corporation Board of Directors approved a construction plan to enhance the availability of accessible seating in the upper level of Rupp Arena. Work will begin immediately and will be completed before the 2011-12 men’s basketball season begins.
Additional upper level accessible seating will be available to current season ticket holders based on K Fund priority points, prior to the 2011-12 season.
The UK Athletics Ticket Office has contacted those season ticket holders impacted by this construction plan and are working with them to identify new seating options in the upper level in accordance with existing policies and procedures for the upcoming 2011-12 men’s basketball season.
The following seats will be impacted by the construction:
- Section 217, rows C and D, seats 1 to 9
- Section 218, rows C and D, seats 1 to 18
- Section 227, rows C and D, seats 1 to 18
- Section 228, rows C and D, seats 1 to 9
As in years past, all current season ticket holders will receive their 2011-12 men’s basketball ticket renewal forms in August.
