Softball: A 4-0 week led to a big push in one poll for the Cats. UK is ranked No. 16 in this week’s ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25, the program’s highest ranking in school history. Five Southeastern Conference teams are now in the top 16. Kentucky remained at No. 20 in the other major softball poll, the USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Poll.

Men’s tennis: Heading into postseason play, UK has tied its highest team ranking of the year at No. 11 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings. Individually, Eric Quigley is No. 4 this week, followed by Alex Musialek at No. 50 and Alberto Gonzalez at No. 89. Anthony Rossi fell out of the singles rankings this week. In doubles, Quigley and Brad Cox are ranked No. 35 while Gonzalez and Tom Jomby sit at No. 83.
