Team game notes

• The Wildcats used the starting combination of Darius Miller, Terrence Jones, Brandon Knight, DeAndre Liggins and Josh Harrellson. Kentucky is 14-5 with that starting five.
• Doron Lamb and Eloy Vargas were the first subs off the bench for Kentucky. It was Lamb’s 17th time and Vargas’ fifth time this season to be the first Wildcat off the bench.
• Kentucky extended its streak of games with a 3-pointer to 771 games, the third longest streak in the country.
• UK trailed 34-32 at the half, only the fifth time this year the Cats have trailed going into halftime. Kentucky is 1-4 when trailing at halftime.
• Trailing 55-42 at the 11:50 mark of the second half, Kentucky went on a 17-3 run to take a 59-58 lead on a Terrence Jones 3-pointer at the 5:41 mark.
• From the 5:41 mark on, the game saw five lead changes and one tie.
• UK shot 58.3 pct. (7-of-12) from 3-point range, its highest percentage since hitting 62.5 pct. against Boston (11/30/10).
• Kentucky also hit 84.6 pct. (11-13) from the free throw line, the 13th time this season UK has hit 75 pct or better from the charity stripe.

• Recorded his eighth three-point play of the season.

#4 Jon Hood

• Hit a field goal at the halftime buzzer, his first field goal since the LSU game on Jan. 11.

#12 Brandon Knight

• Has hit a 3-pointer in seven-straight games.
• Has recorded three or more 3-pointers in 10 games this season.
• Scored in double-figures in 17 straight games.
• Recorded his ninth 20-point game this season, tied (Rex Chapman, Patrick Patterson) for most in a season by a UK freshman.
