LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky women’s tennis team plays its first home match of the 2010 season when Marshall visits the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex on Wednesday for a 1 p.m. contest.

Admission is free. Papa John’s pizza will be provided for attending UK students while supplies last. The first 25 fans will receive a free UK women’s tennis T-shirt.

The No. 31 Wildcats (1-5) look to snap a three-match losing streak on Wednesday. UK has lost two matches to No. 9 Georgia Tech (4-2 and 7-0) and dropped a 7-0 decision to No. 38 Ohio State since upsetting No. 24 Alabama 4-3 at the ITA Kickoff Weekend tournament Jan. 30.

Marshall (6-0) is ranked No. 67 in the most recent ITA rankings, having defeated No. 71 Miami (Ohio) 6-1 Sunday in Huntington, W.Va.
