LEXINGTON, KY – The UK women’s soccer team received the Team Academic Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) after posting a 3.28 team grade-point-average.

The honor is awarded to programs than have a collective GPA of 3.0 or better for the 2008-09 academic year.

Last month, senior Julie Hull was named a first team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District performer, while senior Ashley Stack was named a member of the second team.
