Team Records and Series Notes

• Kentucky moves to 7-0 with the win, while Miami (Ohio) is now 1-4.
• With the victory, Kentucky continues its best start since the 2005-06 Wildcats started 8-0. UK’s best start in school history is 9-0 during 1980-81.
• Kentucky improves to 15-2 in the series with Miami (Ohio), including winning each of the last eight contests in Lexington. UK moves to 26-4 all-time against teams from the Mid-American Conference.
• UK owns a 582-447 all-time record in 36 years of varsity women’s basketball, including a 315-138 mark in storied Memorial Coliseum.
• Matthew Mitchell’s career mark improves to 70-61, including a 40-32 record at Kentucky. Mitchell is 2-0 all-time against Miami (Ohio).

• Kentucky’s 107 points against Miami are the most scored by UK since a 108-102 overtime win against Miami on Dec. 21, 2002. It’s the most points scored by Kentucky in a regulation game since a 112-71 win over Florida Atlantic on Dec. 30, 2000.
• Kentucky reached 100 points for the first time in the Mitchell era and the first time since a 105-45 victory over Tennessee State on Dec. 22, 2005. Kentucky has crossed the century mark in points 33 times in school history.
• UK is 33-0 when scoring 100 points or more.
• The 54-point margin of victory was the highest since defeating Tennessee State by 60 points (105-45) on Dec. 22, 2005.
• Kentucky shot a season-high 57.1 percent from the field on a season-best 36 field goals on 63 attempts.
• The Wildcats shot a season-best 70.6 percent from three-point range with a season-best 12 made three-pointers.
• It marked the most three-pointers for the Cats since netting 12 vs. Stetson on Nov. 22, 2005.
• Kentucky has now hit a three-pointer in 191 consecutive games, dating back to 2003-04.
• The Wildcats held Miami to 26.8 percent from the field (15-of-56). It marked the second consecutive game Kentucky has held its opponent to under 30 percent shooting.

Kentucky has forced 20 or more turnovers in five of seven games this season, including a season-high 29 against Boston (11/13/09) in the season opener. It marked the third time this season the Wildcats have created 30 or more points off opponent miscues.
• The Wildcats dished out a season-high 22 assists and swiped a season-best 14 steals. UK’s nine blocks were one shy of tying a season high.
• UK outrebounded Miami 45-28 and has now outrebounded the opponent five times this season, including two consecutive.
• Six Wildcats reached double figures in scoring, the most since six scored 10 or more points against Tennessee State on Dec. 22, 2005.
• For the second straight game, all 10 Wildcats that saw action scored at least two points.
• The Wildcats’ 107-53 win, marked the fifth consecutive game Kentucky has held an opponent under 60 points.
• UK has scored at least 65 points in every game this season.
• The Wildcats are 255-19 since 1974 when scoring 80 or more points, including a 9-1 mark record in the Mitchell era.
• Key Run: Kentucky stretched a seven-point lead into a 19-point advantage at 30-11 thanks to a 15-0 run that concluded at the 10:12 mark of the first half. From there, the Wildcats outscored the RedHawks 21-10 the rest of the stanza to build the largest halftime lead in school history at 57-21.
• For the seventh consecutive game Coach Mitchell started Amber Smith, Victoria Dunlap, Amani Franklin, Carly Morrow, A’dia Mathies.

Individual Game Notes

• Junior forward Victoria Dunlap charted a team-high 21 points and game-high 16 rebounds to post her fourth season and 17 th career double-double.
  • She moves into sole possession of fifth place on UK’s career double-double list. She entered the game tied with Eleia Roddy (2005-09).
  • Dunlap has scored 20 or more points eight times in her three-year career, including three this season.
  • Dunlap tied season highs with five steals and four blocks.
  • Dating back to last season, Dunlap has scored in double digits in 14 consecutive games and has swiped at least one steal in 13 consecutive games.
• Junior guard Amber Smith set a new season high and tied her career high with 17 points. With six assists, Smith has handed out 21 assists during the past three games (7.0 per game)
• Senior guard Amani Franklin posted a season-high 16 points to go with nine rebounds. Franklin helped sparked Kentucky’s win by shooting 5-of-5 from the field in the first half before ending the game 6-of-8.
• Junior guard Carly Morrow made 4-of-6 three-pointers to finish with 14 points. It marked the most threes for her since connecting on five in the season opener against Boston.
• Sophomore guard Rebecca Gray made all three of her three-point attempts and finished with a UK career-high 13 points. She also dished out a UK career-high six assists.
• Freshman guard A’dia Mathies had 11 points while handing out a game- and career-high seven assists Her four steals tied her career high. Mathies has scored in double-figures in six of seven career games.
