PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Kentucky women’s tennis team member, No. 77 Megan Broderick, fell in the first round of the qualifying matches at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships Tuesday afternoon.

Broderick fell to Katrina Zheltova, a senior from Sacramento State, 6-3, 6-4. Zheltova is ranked No. 56 in the fall preseason rankings.

Some of the Tampa, Fla., native’s teammates will be competing this weekend back in the Bluegrass at the Kentucky Invitational hosted by UK at the Hilary J. Boone Varsity Tennis Complex. Matches begin Friday, Oct. 9 and run through Sunday, Oct. 11.
