LEXINGTON, Ky. – With the goal of better adjusting to game-day speed, the Kentucky football first-team offensive and defensive units spent more time practicing against each other on Tuesday morning.

“We had a lot of ‘ones’ vs. ‘ones,’” Coach Rich Brooks said. “We’ll find out (if it went well) on Saturday.”

Three players were held out of practice Tuesday because of injuries, including offensive tackle Justin Jeffries (Achilles strain), cornerback Paul Warford (quadriceps strain) and linebacker William Johnson (sprained knee). In addition, linebacker Micah Johnson could not finish practice because of a turf toe injury.

“Cat Walk” Set for 10:15: Fans wishing to participate in the “Cat Walk,” cheering the Wildcats when they enter the stadium on Saturday, should be at Gate One of Commonwealth Stadium at 10:15 am.
