LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky men’s basketball program has released nine additional televised games for the 2009-10 season, including the annual Blue-White game and both exhibition games.
Big Blue Madness will once again be televised by the Big Blue Sports Network (BBSN). Madness, the first open practice opportunity for Kentucky’s 2009-10 men’s and women’s basketball teams, is Friday, Oct. 16, at 7:30 p.m. ET. Fans will be allowed to enter Rupp Arena beginning at 6 p.m. the night of Big Blue Madness. Any additional television information will be released at a later date.
Fox Sports South picked up the majority of UK’s non-conference games, including the Campbellsville (Nov. 2) and Clarion (Nov. 6) exhibition games, as well as Miami University (Nov. 16), Sam Houston State (Nov. 19), Rider (Nov. 21), UNC Asheville (Nov. 30) and Long Beach State (Dec. 23). In addition, FS South will televise the Blue-White game held on Oct. 28.
The UK-Austin Peay game on Dec. 19 will be televised by CSS.
BBSN will carry the Miami University (Nov. 16) game live and will tape delay all games carried live by Fox Sports South, excluding the UNC Asheville game.
Times and television have yet to be determined for the Cancun Challenge games featuring Kentucky against Cleveland State and either Stanford or Virginia.
