Men's Soccer

LEXINGTON, Ky. — With the start of the collegiate soccer season a few days away, tickets are available for the 2009 Kentucky men’s and women’s soccer season.

The women’s soccer team, in head coach Jon Lipsitz’s first year, opens its season Friday with Cincinnati at 7 p.m. ET at the UK Soccer Complex. Men’s soccer, under the direction of 16th-year head coach Ian Collins, kicks off the year with an exhibition Monday against Dayton at 7 p.m. in Lexington.

Single game tickets are available through the UK ticket office, in addition to the UK True Blue Club – Olympic Sports Pass. The Olympic Sport Pass allow admission to all Olympic sporting events, all season long (2009-10). Individual passes are priced at $25 and family passes (two adults, up to three youth) at $40. The True Blue Club pass includes admission to baseball, softball, gymnastics, men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball.

Individual general admission soccer tickets are also for sale, including $5 for adults and $2 for seniors and youth. Group tickets (20+ people) are available by calling the ticket office in advance of the event.

Youth and high school teams can receive free admission by submitting team rosters, at least three days in advance, to UK Marketing.
