LEXINGTON, Ky. –
The University of Kentucky softball team will hold open tryouts for its 2010 squad this fall head coach Rachel Lawson announced.
Interested participants will need to attend a meeting on Sept. 3. That meeting will be held at 5:00 p.m. in the Wildcat Den of Commonwealth Stadium. Please enter through Gate 3.
Those interested must also have the following info:
• Be admitted and enrolled as a full time student at the University of Kentucky for the fall of 2009
• Be registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center (previously the Clearinghouse)
• Have a signed physician’s statement or physical examination conducted within the last 12 months. If you do not have either, you must have an appointment scheduled.
Tryouts will be held on Sept. 20 at the UK Softball Complex. Time for that is set at 5:00 p.m.
