INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Three University of Kentucky swimmers were among the field in the 50-freestyle at the 2009 ConocoPhillips USA Swimming National Championships Thursday in Indianapolis.
Senior Megan Pulskamp placed 42nd in the women’s 50-free with a time of 26.43. Pulskamp, who earlier in the week captured a top-20 finish in the 100-fly has had a tremendous showing at the national meet.
Two UK men set nearly identical times when senior Kyle Greene and junior Colin Faris placed 37th and 39th, respectively. Greene tapped in at 23.39 in the event, with Faris touching in at 23.47 in the event.
The meet continues until Saturday as Americans continue to compete for a roster spot on the World Games team.
