LEXINGTON, Ky. — Due to heavy rains in the central Kentucky area, the series opener with Kentucky and Auburn has been postponed, with the two teams to play a doubleheader Saturday. First pitch of game one is slated for 2 p.m. ET, with the originally scheduled Saturday game scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

In game one, Kentucky (24-23, 9-15 SEC) will send junior lefty James Paxton (5-2, 5.40 ERA) to the mound to face off with Auburn (27-22, 8-16 SEC) freshman right-hander Jon Luke Jacobs (3-4, 6.23 ERA). In game two, senior southpaw Chris Rusin (5-4, 4.07 ERA) will get the start, opposite of lefty Grant Dayton (2-5, 5.61 ERA).

Both games can be heard live on the Big Blue Sports Network (radio), with the Voice of UK Baseball, Neil Price, calling the action. Both games will be live in Lexington on WLAP 630-Am and in Louisville on WKJK 1080-AM. Game two will be broadcast live on BBSN (television), with Dick Gabriel, Doug Flynn and Ryan Lemond calling the action. The game will be broadcast on FSN (Insight-Lexington channel 52).
